Congregational Care is the conduit for our pastors, staff and volunteer members of the congregation to come alongside those within our body and in our community who are in need, providing appropriate spiritual, practical and emotional care and support. We have several Care Teams that are seeking volunteers.
SBC's Prayer Team is made up of staff members and volunteers who participate in after-sermon prayer time on Saturday nights and/or Sunday mornings. Team members are available to pray with others in front of the platform after each service time.
Helping Hands volunteers minister to our congregation and the community with their “do-it-yourself” skills, helping with those nagging little maintenance challenges that arise. They offer assistance especially to widows and single mothers, but not exclusively.
You don’t need a financial or accounting degree to help out as a Budget Coach. Maybe you have an experience that lends itself to helping others in this area, or you have a heart to serve and a skill or aptitude in this area. You will receive training in order to fill this great need.
