Youth (5th–12th Grade)
Through our YTH Ministry, we have a variety of opportunities each week for volunteers to work with students in grades 5-12 at all of our campuses to get them involved and connected at Scottsdale Bible Church. Our desire is to teach students to love God, love the Body of Christ, and love the lost world. You will see that each ministry has similar serving opportunities, in addition to varying commitment levels.
- Leadership Team: We're looking for people who love students and are willing to build relationships with them, lead them by example, and be consistent. Leadership Team members are expected to attend weekend programming and special events/camps. Membership at Scottsdale Bible Church is required for this role.
- Support Team: Team members have a variety of areas they can serve in:
- Snack Bar Team: Run the Snack Bar during weekend programming.
- Check-In Team: Help check in students when they arrive and answer any questions the students or parents may have.
- Connect Team: Help connect our new visitors to other students and their Small Group Leader.
- Welcome Team: Make a positive first impression by greeting everyone that comes to YTH.
In addition to submitting a Volunteer Application and completing a background check, some YTH volunteer roles must also provide 2 references and complete a YTH Crash Course Training. Volunteers over 21 must complete a Motor Vehicle Record and submit proof of auto insurance.
