Care Ministry

Care Ministry is the conduit for our pastors, staff, and volunteer members of the congregation to come alongside those within our body and in our community who are in need, providing appropriate spiritual, practical, and emotional care and support.

Helping Hands/Work Crew:  We are seeking volunteers with a variety of skills that are willing to assist our congregants and community with small handyman projects.

Senior Community Outreach Team: We are looking for friendly people of any age who enjoy spending time with the elderly residents of local assisted living centers. This would include talking and listening to the residents, praying with them, reading to them, assisting with a church service or Bible study, playing musical instruments, or singing.

Sunday In House Prayer Team: Made up of staff and church members who participate in after-sermon prayer time on Sundays. Prayer Team members are available to pray with others in front of the stage after each service. Volunteers on this team are required to be a member of Scottsdale Bible Church.

Intercessory Email Prayer Team: Each week prayer requests submitted to SBC are emailed to the team for prayer.

Visitation Team:  Our Visitation Team volunteers reach out (by phone or in-person) and keep in loving contact with those who have extended stays in the hospital, or who are homebound due to a physical illness or limitation. They develop relationships with, encourage, and pray with them. Church membership is required for this volunteer role.
